Tales from Nature
Jojoba Oil is extracted from the seeds of Jojoba, a plant native to Mexico and California. It is a very long-lived shrub that can live up to 250 years in desert areas.
Its natural texture is in very full-bodied liquid wax, similar to skin sebum, whose molecular structure it possesses. It contains minerals such as zinc, iodine and copper, vitamin E, vitamins B2 and B3. Widely used in cosmetics for both body and hair care products.
Hair Benefits
From the powerful moisturizing-nutritive action, it restores the optimal degree of hydration. By forming a light and resistant protection that envelops the hair, it ensures the supply of moisture over time, bringing radiance, lightness, softness and volume.
By promoting the closure of scales, it helps to make hair disciplined. It counteracts elastin and collagen aging processes, has emollient, moisturizing properties, balances pH, and has antifungal and disinfectant effects.
Skin Benefits
In skincare formulas, Jojoba Oil is a natural emollient that easily penetrates the skin without leaving a residue, strengthening the skin barrier (in fact, its structure is akin to the hydrolipidic film) and providing deep hydration without occluding pores. Its nourishing action makes skin softer and more supple, as well as hands and cuticles soft and flexible.
Ideal for sensitive skin, provides long-lasting hydration and a feeling of comfort.
In intimate hygiene products, it offers immediate relief in cases of irritation and redness, ideal after shaving or waxing.
Continued use over time of products containing Jojoba Oil promotes the smoothing of wrinkles in the face and neck. Very effective in cases of dry, chapped skin or when contained within products such as scrubs and smoothing treatments.
