We do not sell directly in the following countries where there are local distributors: India, Ascension Island, Lithuania, New Zealand (1 of 17 geographic areas), Russia, South Africa (1 of 9 provinces), Tristan da Cunha.

If you would like to buy from the local distributor, please write to Customer Service and we will inform you of his name.

Unfortunately, no, we do not have a company store and it is not possible to come and buy products from the company, even if you live nearby.

The delivery time of your order is composed of the sum of the time required to prepare it and the time required to transport it to your address and corresponds to1/5 business days.

Preparation time is the time it takes Procosmet Italy to process your order, pack it, and ship it and corresponds to 1 business day:

- Orders placedMonday through Friday by 1 p.m. are taken care of, prepared for packing and shipping, and picked up by the courier on the same day;

- Orders placedMonday through Friday after 1 p.m., on holidays and closed days are shipped the next business day;

- If you pay by bank transfer, your order is shipped only after your payment is credited to our bank account. Generally, the crediting time for a bank transfer is 2/3 working days for Italy and up to 5 working days for abroad.

- Each order is packaged in a sealed box on which an anti-breakage label called "Seal of Guarantee" is applied to protect your purchase.

Transport time is the time it takes the courier to transport the order to the address you have indicated and corresponds to 1/2 working days from when the order was prepared, that is, picked up by the courier at the company:

- In the 12 hours following the time of pickup at the company from shipmentyou will receive an email from the courier company containing a link to check the route of your package in which you will find indicated the expected delivery date and time;

- Deliveries are madeMonday through Friday, during normal office hours,excluding national holidays.

Shipping is free for all orders of €59.00 or more for Italy and San Marino, €240.00 for other European Union member countries and €500.00 for the rest of the world.

For orders of a lower amount, the cost is €12.00 for Italy and San Marino and €25.00 for other member countries of the European Union and the rest of the world.

It is not possible to book the delivery time with the courier. However, you can indicate in the "Special Instructions for the seller" when you place your order the time at which you would like the goods delivered to you and we will notify the courier.

Deliveries are made Monday through Friday, during normal business hours, excluding national holidays.

On the day of delivery, the courier will send you an email indicating the time frame during which they will deliver the shipment to you.

The courier will inform you of the delivery attempt by:

- Email;

- Coupon issued by the hauler in the mailbox.

In such notices, the carrier will tell you the time delivery was attempted, the shipment number (so-called waybill), and the approximate date/time of the new delivery, normally scheduled for the next business day.

If you wish to change the delivery, go to the site indicated in the courier's email and enter the shipment number in the space provided to request:

- A new delivery, to the same address and at a different day/time;

- A new delivery, at a different address;

-Pickup of the goods at the branch (firm storage).

Following the second unsuccessful delivery attempt the branch will, where possible, contact you by telephone.

After 2 working days have elapsed without receiving any indication, a stock will be opened.

We do not sell directly to the following countries: India, Ascension Island, Lithuania, New Zealand (1 of 17 geographical areas), Russia, South Africa (1 of 9 provinces), Tristan da Cunha.

Procosmet Italy is a B2C and B2B ecommerce with VAT number registered in Italy aimed at consumers, businesses and freelancers and as such subject to European VAT tax regulations:

  • Italian Consumers - Businesses/Freelance Professionals: price includes VAT at 22%;
  • Consumers from other EU countries (Germany, France, Holland, etc.): price includes VAT depending on the country of origin.
  • Businesses/Freelance professionals from other EU countries (Germany, France, Holland, etc.): price does not include VAT;
  • Consumers - Businesses/Freelance professionals from non-EU countries (United States, India, Japan, etc.): price does not include VAT and customs in the buyer's country will apply local taxes.

Yes, if you are an individual (sole proprietorship) or collective (partnership or corporation) or a freelancer enter your information on Join Procosmet and purchase using your VAT ID. An invoice will be issued for purchases made.

Online sales do not require the issuance of an invoice (nor of a receipt, fiscal receipt or transport document) to Italian consumers and others domiciled or residing within the European Union (not VAT-registered), according to Article 22 of Presidential Decree No. 633 of 26/10/1972 and Article 2, letter oo) of Presidential Decree No. 696 of 21 December 1996 (as confirmed by Resolution No. 274/E of 5 November 2009).

The current environmental sustainability strategy pursued by Procosmet Italy requires the reduction of the use of paper in order to reduce the environmental impact, so within your shipment you will not find any of the above documents.

The invoice must be requested at the time of the order:

Write a message to customer service indicating the tax code of the payer of the payment method and the order number for which you are requesting an invoice.

Please note that the invoice will be made out to the name and address associated with the payment method and we will not be able to make the invoice out to a different name or address. Please verify that the tax identification number is also that of the call sign associated with the payment method.

On the other hand, if you have placed an order on Procosmet Italy and you are domiciled or resident outside the European Union there is an obligation to issue an invoice.

Discount codes, samples and freebies

Unfortunately no, samples are not available for general distribution but only when there are specific offers or events promoted on the site. If you have any doubts about which product to choose, one of our experts will be happy to assist you through the live chat.

Unfortunately no, Procosmet Italy does not give discounts or send samples or freebies based on the order amount, but only as part of specific offers or events promoted on the site.

If you wish to change or cancel an order after it has been placed on the site, write to the Customer Service Department within one hour after you have made your purchase and we will do our best to fulfill your request.

If your order is cancelled, you will receive an email informing you of the cancellation and you will not be charged for it. If you have any questions about cancelling your order, please write to the Customer Service Department to communicate with one of our experts.

After that time has elapsed, once your order is taken care of, you will no longer be able to change or cancel your order and you will be charged for it.

In this case you will have to wait for the delivery of the goods and carry out the return procedure for all or part of the order as indicated in the section "I have changed my mind and wish to return a product: how can I do it?".

If for any reason one or more products purchased through the site are not to your liking, you may avail yourself of the Right of Withdrawal. To exercise this right, write to Customer Service within the period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods, indicating the order number.

In case of withdrawal you are entitled to a refund of the price paid.

Important: For hygienic and health protection-related reasons, we cannot accept items that have been opened after delivery.

I have received a defective product/different from what I ordered/ showing signs of tampering: what should I do?

Each order is packaged in a sealed box on which an anti-tampering label called a "Warranty Seal" is applied to protect your purchase.

When you receive your order, we ask that you carefully check the Warranty Seal for signs of tampering and that the number of pieces being delivered matches the number listed on the shipping document.

Important: For hygienic and health protection-related reasons, we cannot accept items that have been opened after delivery.

In all the above cases, as soon as you encounter the problem please write to our Customer Service Department by enclosing:

  • The type of problem;
  • The lot number (the code on the package);
  • A photo showing the problem.

Our Customer Service Department will contact you back to arrange a replacement or refund at your option.

We will refund the full price you paid:

  • Including shipping charges where applied;
  • Within 14 days after notice of withdrawal;
  • Using the same means of payment you used to make the purchase, unless you specifically request a different means of payment from us.

For your part, you must return the goods within 14 days after you give notice of withdrawal.

You will not incur any costs as a result of the refund:

  • Except for the cost of returning the goods, which will be your responsibility in case of withdrawal;
  • In case of lack of conformity also the cost of return will be borne by Procosmet Italy.

Refunds may be suspended until we receive the goods or until you prove that you have sent the goods back, if the refund is made before the goods are received at the company.

If you are a business/professional, you can create your account by selecting the Register with Procosmet (Individuals and VAT) button, then Business/Professional in the upper right corner.

Then enter:

- Name (first and last name for professionals; firm, name or company name for businesses);

- VAT number (write IT in front of the number; for example, IT02883540243);

- e-mail address;

- a password of your choice to use on the site.

- place a check mark next to I agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions

- and select the CREATE button.

You will receive an email confirming the creation of your account.

I forgot my login information such as username and password, how can I retrieve them?

To retrieve your login information such as username and password, remember that your username corresponds to your email address, while to retrieve your password you must select the person icon in the upper right corner.

 

Your username corresponds to your e-mail address (if you have several, to the e-mail address you used to register on Procosmet Italy).

If you do not remember the e-mail address you used, write to us here and we will do our best to retrieve it.

To recover your password select the person-shaped icon in the upper right corner.

A window (pop-up) will open in which you must select the Sign in with Procosmet (Individuals and VAT) button.

A tab will open in which there is a question Forgot Password?

Select the Forgotten Password question.

A tab will open in which you are asked to enter the email with which you registered on the site.

Enter the email and select the SEND button.

A page will appear with a notification We have sent you an email with a link to reset your password.

In the email box you entered to retrieve your password you will find an email with the subject line Password Reset.

Open the email and select the Reset your password button.

You will be redirected to a page where you are asked to enter a new password in the first field and to retype the same password by way of confirmation in the second field

Fill in both fields with the same password and select the Reset Password button.

The password has been changed and you have been redirected to the MY ACCOUNT page.

I no longer wish to receive your newsletter: what should I do?

If you no longer wish to receive newsletters from Procosmet Italy containing news, offers, discounts and promotions you can unsubscribe in the following ways:

  • Unsubscribe via newsletter: simply select the link at the bottom of each newsletter to be removed from the mailing list;
  • Unsubscribe via e-mail: write to the Customer Service from the e-mail address entered in the mailing list and we will unsubscribe you from the newsletter.

If you wish to continue to shop on the site, even if you unsubscribe from the newsletter, you will continue to receive emails as usual containing notifications of order confirmations, shipments, and all communications related to your orders.

All Napura and MTJ products are strictly Made in Italy and enjoy the special certification issued by the Institute for the Protection of Italian Manufacturers and published on the relevant ecommerce pages.

Companies with the certification of "100% Made in Italy" undergo a series of very thorough checks, the only way for quality to be certified and guaranteed over time.

The controls are aimed at certifying that the entire production cycle of the product is totally made in Italy.

The exclusive exception is makeup brushes that are made in Germany because of the high manufacturing quality of these products in that area.

All Procosmet Italy products are developed in compliance with EEC regulations and are safe for pregnant and postpartum women.

All Napura and MTJ products have a shelf life of more than 30 months, consequently, European regulations do not provide an expiration date for them from the time of production but from the time of their opening, so-called PAO (Period After Opening).

This period has a variable duration (from 3 to 24 months) and is clearly indicated on the product label. Therefore, until you open the package, you can use the product in complete safety.

Parabens are preservatives that have been widely used for years in the cosmetics industry because of their ability to maintain the characteristics and properties of products over time.

Numerous studies and scientific research have been carried out over the years on the use of these substances, and both European Union and U.S. health authorities have authorized their use in cosmetics, considering these preservatives to be safe and free of danger to humans.

The only risks that may arise from their use are from a possible allergic reaction to these substances. This risk, however, exists for the vast majority of substances with which the body may come into contact (pollen, gluten, dust, etc.) and is not related to the composition of parabens that the scientific community has recognized as safe for humans.

All Napura products and many MTJ products are paraben-free.

Procosmet Italy products comply with all requirements of European cosmetic legislation and, in compliance with EU Regulation No.1223/2009, do not contain heavy metals added as raw materials.

The company is ISO 22716 certified and manufactures its products under the best possible conditions by choosing the best the raw material market can offer in terms of purity and using equipment designed in 316 steel, which is very resistant to corrosive agents.

The water used in production is purified through an advanced plant that provides high quality water.

There are substances in our products that can retain any traces of heavy metals in order to keep them from being released on the skin.

Despite this, it is impossible to guarantee the total and absolute absence of such elements, including nickel, which can cause allergic manifestations in certain predisposed individuals.

Those who are allergic to such substances are advised to do a sensitivity test before using the products.

Silicones, from which dimethicone is derived, are synthetic substances widely used in cosmetics for their ability to improve product performance in a variety of ways.

They are widely used in sunscreens because of their characteristic of not being sticky, thus preventing sand from sticking to the skin.

In makeup they improve the spreadability and silkiness of products, while reducing the sensitizing and allergenic power of pigments due to their ability to stabilize them at the site of application without them migrating to other areas.

In hair products they are used for their protective, conditioning and polishing film-forming effect on the fiber.

They can be considered safe for consumer health: they have a low toxicological profile with limited percutaneous absorption and are not occlusive.

The fragrance of a product can be achieved by directly employing a perfume or an essential oil. Both perfumes and essential oils in most cases contain allergenic substances called allergens.

Procosmet Italy's products use, where possible, essential oils and fragrances that are either totally free of allergens or in minimal amounts such that possible reactions can be ruled out.

No, our products are not tested on animals in accordance with the prohibition arising from European legislation to carry out such types of tests for cosmetics.

Gluten is a protein complex found in most cereals that is toxic to people with celiac disease. Grains that contain gluten are also used in the cosmetics industry as raw materials, however, gluten (for those with celiac disease) triggers an inflammatory reaction only upon ingestion, and not through transdermal absorption (through the skin).

Although the general tendency is to rule out its dangerousness, the risk of gluten ingestion for individuals with celiac disease in relation to products sold by Procosmet Italy concerns only lip makeup (lipsticks, pencils, lip glosses and balms). For such products, we urge those with celiac disease to pay attention to the composition indicated on the label and to consult with their treating physician.

For all other products in which gluten may be present (shampoos, conditioners, creams, etc.) their use can also be considered safe for those with celiac disease.

Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) are surfactants, i.e., substances that "dissolve" dirt and make it slide off with water. SLS and SLES are surfactants widely used in all detergent products, such as shampoos, bubble baths, cleansing gels, and so on.

Prolonged use of products containing SLS and SLES causes dehydration of the skin and hair and alteration of the hydrolipid film.

No Napura and MTJ products contain SLS and SLES.

Kerosene, more commonly known as vaseline, is a mineral oil that has been used in cosmetics for decades for its emollient and lubricating abilities. In lipsticks, for example, kerosene is used to impart extra shine to the product.

Procosmet Italy uses only mineral oils of high purity and quality in full compliance with European regulations: numerous scientific studies have shown that mineral oils that have been used for decades as ingredients in cosmetic products do not pose health risks to the consumer.
