Environmental sustainability is the main ingredient in vegan cosmetics. We have always been on nature's side, with 100% animal-derivative-free Vegan formulations on the entire SunSystem Napura sun care range and 100% Cruelty free on all Procosmet lines.

Coral Friendly filters, friends of the sea
We have introduced within the Napura SunSystem collection Coral Friendly filters in sunscreens, specifically designed to safeguard coral reefs, which can protect against UVA and UVB sunlight and Blue light.
Coral reefs represent one of the most biodiverse habitats in the world, allowing about one million people to feed themselves. They host a huge variety of marine animals, providing them with food and shelter and thus keeping the ecosystem in balance, and naturally protect coastal and island environments from sea erosion.

How to differentiate correctly?
We have long been striving to make the recycling of our products more and more intuitive and interactive, so in addition to researching sustainable materials, we have developed a new method of communication: a QR code, placed on the back of the product, which can be scanned by any mobile device that allows you to find up-to-date information on the disposal of each individual package.
In addition, within each product sheet you will be able to view the specific table with directions on proper sorting.

All product bottles of our Napura and MTJ Brands are made of recyclable plastic.
If we want to reduce the environmental impact of plastics, we must all have a careful and responsible behavior and properly recycle all kinds of materials in the appropriate containers, according to the regulations of our own municipality.
SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING
The airless, smart dispenser
Many products are airless, a smart and sustainable type of dispensing with numerous benefits for you and the environment:
- No waste: the product is used completely, so there is no residue left inside the bottle and no waste.
- Optimal storage: the product does not come into contact with air so no oxidation or contamination is generated, thus, a longer shelf life of the product's effectiveness.
- Just enough: only the minimum necessary dose of the product is taken, with no waste.
CONTROLLED PRODUCTION IMPACT
Responsible production with cold emulsions
For many years now, Procosmet cosmetic formulas have been born from production processes based almost exclusively on cold emulsions, recognized among the eco-friendly processes subject to worldwide attention and enhancement, capable of reducing energy consumption and processing time, thus generating less environmental impact.

One year together, in 2024 we have chosen to celebrate 10 days related to the well-being of our Planet Earth, educational and informational events to raise awareness and inspire respect for our Earth, combined with online promotion launches and salons.
THE TREATSYSTEMETHOD REVOLUTION
Napura refills, make a sustainable choice.
The Touch Treat Dispenser project for salons, featuring Napura's Treatments refills in vials and microproteins, is designed to be completely sustainable, following the Circular By Design approach for eco-friendly packaging.
Only two fully recyclable materials were used for the base: aluminum and steel.
And FSC cardboard for the vial and bottle cases.
#REDUCE
It is compact and thin, to optimize space and pallet transport, reducing bulk, thus reducing CO2 emissions. It contains as many as 132 treatments in a very small space.
#RECYCLE
The cases are made of recyclable FSC cardboard, with a reduction in the use of the amount of cardboard compared to round vial packaging.
#REUSE
The display is durable, so it is perfect for refilling countless times and easily disassembled to facilitate material sorting.
STEEL AND ALUMINUM
All project suppliers are Made in Italy, for a shorter supply chain, with FSC-certified partners or Benefit Societies for an increasingly sustainable and responsible supply chain.
PAPER AND COMMUNICATION
Paper and cardboard of the cases are made of FSC material, and all project communication is digital, from presentation, to augmented reality.

Couriers and partners for responsible transportation
We have chosen only express couriers for all our on and offline shipments that pursue policies to offset CO2 emissions to the environment and make significant commitments to ecosystem protection projects internationally: wind farms, biomass parks, water purifiers, reforestation plans, choosing alternative fuels for land transportation, renewing vehicle fleets with electric vehicles, and investing in renewable energy production.
