The Lemon is a small tree native to China and India that is now widely spread throughout the Mediterranean and has small white flowers that are very fragrant. Lemon Essential Oil is used extensively in cosmetics because of its many benefits on skin and hair: it is astringent, antibacterial, whitening and antioxidant. It is extracted from the lemon peel, that is, the rind of the shell that is processed through a cold-pressing process.
