Stories from Nature

Psoralea corylifolia, or Bakuchi (in Sanskrit), is a plant native to India that grows in tropical and subtropical regions. Bakuchiol extract is used in Chinese and Indian medicine to treat numerous skin concerns, thanks to its powerful antioxidant properties. Its soothing action relieves irritation, promoting a balanced and radiant complexion.

 Skin Benefits

Bakuchiol extract is a natural active ingredient with a high degree of purity, known for its anti-aging properties, comparable to those of retinol, but with significantly better skin tolerance. It stimulates collagen production and cell renewal, improving skin tone, elasticity, and radiance, with excellent tolerability even on sensitive skin. It is not photosensitizing and is effective in treating hyperpigmentation and skin imperfections.

Unlike retinol, Bakuchiol is not photosensitizing, so it can also be used during the day, offering protection against UV damage.

It helps visibly reduce wrinkles, fine lines, and signs of dehydration. It is a valuable ally for anti-aging routines thanks to its gentle yet effective action.

It is particularly suitable for oily, acne-prone, or enlarged-pore skin, thanks to its ability to regulate sebum production and promote even skin regeneration without causing irritation.
