Polynesian Monoi is a prized oil extract of local tradition obtained by macerating fresh Tiare flowers in coconut oil. Monoi Oil is used regularly by the Polynesian people for body and hair care to protect, soften and moisturize skin, nourish and polish hair.
Monoi Oil is totally free of toxic substances and is the most widely used plant in traditional Polynesian pharmacopoeia, both as a beauty product and for its remarkable medicinal powers.
Monoi was also used by Maori navigators during maritime expeditions as protection from the cold, strong winds and saltiness of the sea.
