Tales from Nature

Honey is produced by bees using nectar from flowers or plant secretions for some types. Once collected, the nectar is dehydrated by bees, who add enzymes to it and only then release it into honeycombs.
Honey must be extracted cold to preserve its properties because if it reaches temperatures around 45 degrees it risks losing its properties and deteriorating.

Honey is ideal for the care of dry, rough or dehydrated skin on the body such as elbows, hands and heels. This benefit stems from its hygroscopic properties, that is, its ability to absorb and retain water in the skin layers. In addition, thanks to its purifying properties, honey is one of the most effective solutions for chapped lips, even in the presence of small dryness cracks: it promotes the restructuring of the area by performing a repairing and protective action.

Honey also has remarkable antioxidant properties thanks to vitamin E, which significantly slows down the natural aging of the skin.

Benefits

It also works on the skin by restoring its natural moisture and softness, with anti-aging benefits. It tones, nourishes, protects and smooths, also correcting problems related to acne or impure skin. When used within coloring product formulas, it prevents redness and irritation to the skin.
